What Ikoi Does
Ikoi is a browser extension that reminds desk workers to take wellness breaks — water, posture, eye rest, and walks. It optionally syncs with Google Calendar to schedule breaks around your meetings.
Data We Collect
- Authentication tokens — stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in. We use Supabase for authentication.
- Break event data — records of completed breaks are synced to our backend so you can view analytics on the dashboard.
- Reminder settings — your configured break intervals and preferences.
- Google Calendar data — if you connect your calendar, we read your event times (not event content) to avoid scheduling breaks during meetings. This data is cached locally and not stored on our servers.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Browsing history or web activity
- Website content
- Personal communications
- Location data
- Financial or payment information
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and data storage
- Google Calendar API — optional calendar integration (read-only access)
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above, solely for the purpose of providing Ikoi's functionality.
Data Storage & Security
Your settings and authentication data are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Break event data is stored securely on Supabase with row-level security policies.
Your Rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension. To request deletion of your account and server-side data, contact us at the email below.
